Camping brings about a certain challenge for preparing food. A large group of us (17) are going for our annual camping trip. We have divided up the weekend one group will cook for all for each night. The wife and I have Saturday night . I chose to make chili. It has been simmering for a few hours now. We will let it cool , pour it into storage bags,freeze it and stick it in the cooler. We have discovered over the year that preparing ahead and freezing is easier and it replaces buying that much more ice. There will be dutch oven cooking and the usual camp stove foods.
